Mini Summary:
Family saga takes place on horseback in modern Montana. There are conversations round race – specifically with Indigenous people (actually played by Indigenous actors?!) and sexism. But a lot of it is around money – and the relationship people have with the planet.
Note: There is also a single season/ mini series spin off called 1883 – also very good but is even more violent and depicts a lot of death and suicide. This post does not talk about that show.
